Company History

Walter Bredemeyer started his career at Gauselmann in Espelkamp and the Minden branch of Kalveram. As a senior electrician, he founded the specialist Control Systems and Switchgear department at Voigt in 1987, which was located at Molkereiweg 151 at the time. Customers included local supermarkets, municipalities and mechanical engineers. To this day, the company, which is located at Mühlendamm 28 in Minden and which was re-branded Bredemeyer Steuerungs- u. Schaltanlagen GmbH in 2004, still manufactures control systems for the plastics sector of the chemical industry, amongst others.

The first encounter with rail treatment took place in 2006 during a collaboration with Mevert Maschinenbau GmbH in Lauenhagen. On the basis of this successful collaboration, an additional production site was acquired in January 2014 on Industriestraße in Stadthagen!

Consistently efficiently and sustainably planned

The detailed planning starts with the logging of all sensors, actuators and interfaces for other units within a central data point list. We use EPLAN P8 to create circuit diagrams with construction plans, parts lists and wire lists for the switchgear and electrical installations. When doing so, we place an emphasis on sustainability and produce plans using high-quality standardised low-voltage switchgear and installation materials. Compliance with country-specific standards and customer-specific requirements is a given.

SWITCHBOARD CONSTRUCTION – Switchboard construction in line with standards
Switchboards, control sections, sub-distributors and energy distributors are manufactured according to state-of-the-art technology and the relevant country-specific standards. Regular analysis and optimisation in collaboration with the planning department ensures that products are value-optimised.

Do you want to manufacture in a reliable and safe manner?
Benefit from high-quality and pre-tested switchgear – with us as your experienced partner in machine testing in accordance with IEC/EN 60204-1 (DIN VDE 0113-1), you can obtain legal certainty when it comes to the German Employers’ Liability Insurance Association (BG), your employees and your insurer. Companies are required to regularly inspect industrial machinery in accordance with provision 3 of the German Accident Prevention and Insurance Association Regulation (BGV A3/DGUV).

Project Development

You can make use of our experience and expertise during project development and the creation of circuit diagrams. We will provide you with layout drawings, circuit diagrams and parts lists based on your technical specifications.!

Programming

PLC programming is performed using the current Siemens system. Upon request, visualisation can be carried out via the Human Machine Interface (HMI) in multiple languages.

Testing

Your partner for all tests relating to control systems and switchgear. We check and prepare records for electrical equipment in accordance with the German Accident Prevention and Insurance Association and the German Accident Prevention Regulations (BGV/GUV-V A3 and DIN VDE 0701-0702), for stationary electrical systems in accordance with DIN VDE 0105-100, as well as for electrical machinery and equipment in accordance with IEC/EN 60204-1 (DIN VDE 0113).

All-round solutions include project development, the manufacturing of control systems (incl. procurement of materials), programming, e-installation and the implementation of the control systems, all from one single source.

Railway Technology

Bredemeyer Steuerungs- u. Schaltanlagen GmbH for greater punctuality, reliability and comfort during railway operation.

We work with you to develop a coherent operating concept centred around the individual user. Naturally, functions and user interfaces are adapted to the customers’ requirements, and the use of electrical components from well-known manufacturers is implemented in accordance with DIN EN 50155 for electronic devices in railway vehicles.

Of course, our employees, with their years of expertise, are not just available to you here in Germany, but can also provide support with electrical installation and commissioning across the border.

Handling of chemicals and water-polluting substances

This is how we ensure, for example, that the mixture in sulphuric acid mixing plants is correct, and that all safety criteria regarding the storage of chemicals has been met. We hold a certificate of competence in accordance with the German Water Resources Act.

Cleaning of municipal and industrial sewage

The implementation of various control methods for optimal separation methods with e.g. a fat trap or grit collector for sewage and waste treatment are among our services.

The machines and plants of PWL installation engineering, such as PWL ProCat multi rake screens or PWL drum sieves are developed on the basis of extensive application in a wide range of industrial sectors and municipal purification treatment plants.

Stadthagen Site

At our Stadthagen branch, several of our employees are dedicated to the mobile rail treatment of tracks and points. “We manufacture the control systems for milling and grinding units which are incorporated into railway vehicles designed especially for this purpose. The DB (Deutsche Bahn) track system is serviced and maintained using these systems,” explains Bredemeyer.
